About the Role:
Coastal Samaritan Counseling Center is seeking a visionary Director of Programs & Development to guide our organization’s mission of providing holistic mental health services to the community. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this position offers an opportunity to make a tangible impact by leading operations, overseeing programs, fostering relationships, and driving fundraising efforts. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Leadership & Vision: Articulate our mission, build strong community relationships, and identify strategies for organizational growth. 

• Operational Excellence: Oversee administration, compliance, staff supervision, and ensure the highest standards of service. 

• Program Oversight: Supervise clinical operations, expand community education initiatives, and collaborate with marketing to amplify our mission. 

• Financial Management: Develop budgets, oversee financial health, and report to the Board. 

• Fundraising: Craft and implement successful fundraising and grant-writing strategies.

Education and/or Other Requirements

Who You Are: You’re a dynamic leader with the following qualifications: 

• Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field. 

• Proven experience in nonprofit or social services leadership. 

• Strong financial acumen, including budget oversight and reporting. 

• A record of inspiring teams and building organizational culture. 

• Demonstrated success in fundraising and community engagement. 

• Passion for advancing holistic and spiritual mental health services. 

• Preferred: 

• 5+ years in nonprofit leadership. 

• Experience in mental health, grant writing, and working with a Board of Directors.
