POSITION OVERVIEW: As clinical director, you will lead a team of therapists and manage the Collaborative’s clinical services. Initially, you will be building the clinical team and program. This includes program development, counseling, consultation, clinical staffing, case conferences, record-keeping, intake, and staff supervision. The clinical director is a member of the management team of the Collaborative.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

EXAMPLES OF WORK:
Clinical Leadership and Administration

Developing the Collaborative’s clinical practices and procedures
-
Supervising the clinical work of the program staff and coordinating clinical consultation

Managing relationships with referral sources and related agencies
-
Representing clinical services on the Collaborative leadership/management team

Coordinating clinical staff meetings, case conferences, and in-service education
-
Managing the clinical services budget in cooperation with the executive director

Report treatment objectives & other performance data to executive director for grant reporting

Participate in meetings to review grant performance and outcomes
Quality Assurance and Utilization Review

Monitoring Center case management in compliance with clinical policies and procedures

Coordinating assessment and treatment planning

Managing electronic medical record system
-
Developing and monitoring the Center’s quality assurance and utilization review programs
SALARY and BENEFITS:
Salary Range – $75,000 – $85,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Education and/or Other Requirements
-
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s or doctor’s degree in psychology, social work, marital and family therapy, or equivalent
-
Must be independently licensed in the state of Kansas (preferred to also be licensed in Missouri) with three years of full-time or the equivalent part-time post licensure experience in a mental health setting.

Sufficient knowledge and skill in the clinical field to lead others and to guide the Center’s clinical program
-
Must have 2-3 years of clinical supervisory experience

Mastery of a coherent theory and practice of therapy and familiarity with other schools of theory and practice used in the Center
-
Ability to organize and coordinate staff resources for third party contracts and to do the quality assurance and utilization review work necessary for meeting the requirements of contracts with a range of third party payers

Ability to travel on occasion (Solihten Conferences) and work occasional evenings and weekends.

Proficiency with Google Suite and electronic health record systems.
PREFERRED

Advanced competence in integrating spiritual beliefs and practices with psychology in the practice of therapy and the ability to communicate this knowledge to others

Licensed in both Kansas and Missouri
